Sashiko pre-printed samplers have wash-out stitching lines. Do not pre-wash. 100% cotton - Finished size approximately 12" x 12". *** Stitch all in one color or use several colors to make it decorative. *** The design is printed on one half of the sampler. You can stitch through both layers for a little heavier fabric if using it for a quilt square or pillow and add your own backing. Or you can stitch through a single layer and use the attached piece as the backing. In Japan, the samplers are stitched through both layers, hemmed and used for tea towels or table decorations. *** Sashiko is so easy to do - so much fun! Just stitch on the preprinted stitching lines. No hoop or chart is needed. If you haven't done sashiko before, please let us know if you need an instructions sheet.
