Structural Glazing Spacer for Field and Shop Glazing Superb Spacer for Two and Four Sided Structural Silicone Glazing Systems Chemically Compatible with All Silicones Tested CRL Norton V2100 Thermalbond Tape is a semi-rigid foam tape with an aggressive pressure-sensitive adhesive. This high density tape has a specially formulated cellular substrate, and is used as a spacer for joint dimension control in structural silicone glazing systems. It is the most widely used spacer tape for structural silicone systems. V2100 has proven to be compatible with all commercial silicone sealants used for structural glazing. It has a highly aggressive adhesive on both sides, and a semi-rigid, open cell structure that maintains the required spacing, and allows air and moisture to reach the silicone to allow optimum curing. Its low conductivity reduces heat transfer and inhibits condensation on windows, doors and metal systems. It comes only in an architectural black finish, and five stock sizes.
