1970-81 Camaro Upper and Lower Tubular Control Arms, Black, Set

Strong tubular construction with durable gloss black powder coat protection. Control arms feature maintenance free self-lubricating non-squeak bushings. OEM-style ball joints come preinstalled and feature screw in grease fittings. Retains factory ride height (use lowering springs or coilovers to lower ride height) Control arms can be used with stock springs or with coilover kits. Polyurethane bump stops are included for both upper and lower control arms. Utilizes OE-style sway bar end link mounting bracket for stock or aftermarket bars. Upper control arms feature 5-degrees of positive caster for improved handling. Upper control arms feature chromoly cross shafts for strength. Lower control arms provide increased ground clearance versus stock stamped arms. Direct bolt-in solution, just reuse your factory control arm mounting hardware. Replacement installation hardware available: upper # 185-2601, 70-74 upper/lower 185-2602, 75-81 upper/lower 185-2603. Also fits 73-77 Malibu (A body), 75-79 Nova (X body), and 77-96 Impala (B body) Note: 1970-1974 Camaro and Firebird stock application use ½” standard lower a-arm hardware while 1975-1981 stock application use 14mm metric lower a-arm hardware. The lower arms in this kit utilize 1/2" i/d lower bushings thus requiring the 1970-1974 bolt application when used with a 1975-1981 chassis application. We suggest checking your vehicles current hardware size before ordering to confirm. Upper a-arm hardware # 185-2601 is the same size for 1970-1981. Tech Tip: P/N 185-2602 includes ½” lower a-arm bolts (to use with these lower arms) while P/N 185-2603 will include 14mm lower arm bolts.
